Leadership is a communication practice

You got where you are in your career because you are good at what you do. You’ve developped expertise, judgement, and the ability to deliver. But at a certain point, the work stops speaking for itself. You are no longer measured by what you deliver alone, but also by how you lead, influence, and bring others with you. And that is fundamentally a communication challenge.

Not communication in the sense of presenting well or choosing the right words, but as the practice of holding authority in a room, making decisions that stick, building trust under pressure, and moving people — even when the situation is ambiguous and the answers aren't clear yet.

Most professionals are equipped for the role they had, not the one they are stepping into. The capability gap is real, but the good news is, it can be closed. Leading is a skill in its own right, one that can be learned, practiced and refined.

And that’s exactly what I help people do.

Who I am

I spent more than twenty years in strategic communication, building reputations for organisations and leaders in the public eye, from shaping the PR strategy for brands across Europe to advising executives at the highest level.

Today, I design and deliver leadership development programmes, coach professionals and teach on business school programmes. I speak and moderate at international events on leadership, communication, and entrepreneurship.

My doctoral research at SDA Bocconi focuses on leader’s identity and it grounds everything I do in current behavioural research.

Clients call me when they need to develop executive presence, prepare leaders for high-stakes communication, navigate managerial transitions, or build leadership capability to shift how an organisation performs.
